Offering sublime views over Cardigan Bay, this elegant detached house between Aberaeron and New Quay is a fabulous accommodation option if you’re looking for somewhere to host a special celebration, team-building event - or just a good old-fashioned family escape to the seaside. Sleeping 12 people across six bedrooms and welcoming two canine companions, it’s the ideal place to get everyone together to relax and reconnect. Spend your days dolphin-spotting in Cardigan Bay and your evenings watching the stars coming out as you take a well-deserved soak in the hot tub.

Step inside and you’ll find a welcoming reception area. Make your way through to the farmhouse-style kitchen, cook up a storm and host dinner around the kitchen table or in the more formal dining room. Alternatively, head outside and dine alfresco on the patio. After dinner, take a dip in the private hot tub, or head indoors to relax by the open fire in the elegant living room. When the day is done, you’ll find a family wing with two spacious en suite bedrooms (one with additional futon available), and a bunk bedroom on the ground-floor, and a further three lovely en suite bedrooms on the first-floor (one double room has additional futon and 5’ junior bed if required).

Check out the wonderful harbour and cosy eateries in Aberaeron (2 miles), an exceptionally picturesque town with a delightful pastel colour palette of Georgian houses. Nearby New Quay (5.5 miles) is a quintessential seaside village, offering an array of restaurants, shops and sandy beaches. Take a boat trip to see the pods of dolphins who often spend their summer in the bay. Or headfor Llanerchaeron (3.5 miles), a National Trust property that has remained mostly unchanged since the 1700s.

  • 6 bedrooms – 1 king-size, 3 doubles, 1 twin and 1 bunk room(bunk room requires use of en suite in the family wing)

A lovely, roomy house in a beautiful location. Plenty of room for our family of 12. Having so many on suites was a great bonus. The views from the front of the house are stunning. So many gorgeous places on the doorstep to explore, New Quay and Aberaeron to name but two. Safe to stay we all enjoyed a wonderful week at this smashing house.

We had read reviews from last year saying WiFi was poor and decor dated but these seem to have been addressed. We found the WiFi good, the decor pleasant and fresh, the beds all comfortable and the hot water excellent. The hot tub was great and our kids loved it. I would have no hesitation either in returning or in recommending it to someone else.

A few minor issues were encountered but these were communicated to the owner and addressed. The property was spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. There was ample room for everyone to sit around or find their own space.

Beautiful views but nothing else to inspire us to return. The property is in need of total refurbishment. Almost everything is tired! The kitchen & bathroom/ en suites were in need of a deep clean or replacement fixtures. Some of the beds require new mattresses. The outside patio area & furniture need serious maintenance. Lovely location for walkers and beach lovers with Newquay being so close. The mirror opposite the entrance was very useful and necessary showing traffic coming down the hill. Most bedrooms were a good size but the bunk bedded room was only really suitable for small children.
