Just half a mile from the beach, this traditional terraced cottage makes a welcoming holiday home for four. Ideal for keen walkers, anglers and water sports enthusiasts, this quirky and characterful cottage is situated in a charming part of Aberaeron on the coast of Cardigan Bay. Perfect for a family or couples seeking a quiet retreat, the cottage offers original wooden ceiling beams, feature fireplaces, a lovely, tiered garden and views out to sea.

Entering this quaint and inviting cottage, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides a relaxing living space for all the family. The lounge has plenty of seating, a Smart TV, a selection of books and games, and a feature fireplace, perfect for snuggling up with a good book or movie. A couple of steps lead up to the kitchen and dining area which is a fully equipped space for preparing and sharing all your favourite family meals. Head upstairs and there are two cosy bedrooms: the tastefully decorated double bedroom is on the split-level landing, with a beautiful wooden ceiling and a feature fireplace, while further steps lead up to the light and refreshing twin zip-and-link room which has a large skylight. The cottage also offers a stylish family bathroom. Outside, steps lead up the tiered back garden which makes a delightful space for a glass of wine in the evening as you take in the distant sea views.

The bustling Georgian town of Aberaeron is known for its picturesque harbour and has a variety of great shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs as well as a couple of pretty shingle beaches. From the harbour you can take a boat trip out to spot dolphins, or head along the coast to the popular resort of New Quay (8 miles). Inland, attractions include the National Trust’s Llanerchaeron (2.5 miles) and Cae Hir Gardens (10 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Pretty cottage in a quiet side street which is in walking distance of the town and beach. Cosy, and tastefully decorated with everything you need for your stay. Great to sit on the elevated patio with your morning tea and take in the view across the town towards the sea.

Great place to stay for a week only two minutes walk into Aberaeron. Parking doesnt seem to be a problem apart from not being able to park at the house but think this is a thing for most of the holiday Cottages in Aberaeron

Bwthyn y Mor is a comfortable, well-equipped, stylishly decorated cottage only minutes from the centre of Aberaeron. It has a lovely tiered garden with distant views of the sea. It is also in an excellent location for travelling north or south along the cardigan coast. There are plenty of parking spaces just around the corner from the cottage. The cottage was lovely and comfortable and the owners were very helpful. It was nice to arrive to small treats for me and the dog! The information I received before arriving and on arrival was very helpful, about the cottage and the local area. The view from the top of the garden was fantastic and made me smile everyday! The cottage was in a great location. Just a few minutes to the beach and harbour. Plenty of shops. Great range of pubs, All had outside seating and many served food. Fish & chips, Chinese, Curry all within walking distance. Nice park for Stanley the dog and good walks from the doorstep. Great place to stay very close walking distance to the town and the beach for the morning walk with the dog. Kitchen was big and the bathroom was roomy. Parking was not a problem. The TV had free view station and various outputs so the kids can plug in game stations or USB with films on. Kitchen's oven and dishwasher looked new and worked well .

Bwthyn Y Mor, is a delightful cottage on the edge of the seaside town of Aberaeron, yet only five minutes walk from the shops and harbour. The cottage is spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. Gary was a great host. He passed on lots of useful information prior to arrival. In the cottage there were nice touches like a packet of welsh cakes, fresh milk in the fridge and fresh cut flowers on display. Bwthyn Y Mor is a comfortable cottage in a great location. The terraced garden at the rear offers a wonderful view across the rooftops of Aberaeron and it's Harbour. The centre of town and the renowned restaurant with rooms, the Harbourmaster is a five minute walk from this cottage as is the All Wales Coastal Path.
