Situated just 1 mile from the picturesque lily ponds of Stackpole, you won’t need to walk far for scenic picnic spots. This charming barn conversion, which has retained many of its original features, is the perfect romantic bolthole. Prepare a delicious meal for two before enjoying an evening beverage in the garden. With the convenient double sofa bed, this property is also ideal for small groups who want to explore the Pembrokeshire National Park. Walk to Broad Haven South Beach, admire the calm waves, and let your dog play in the golden sand.

Feel immediately at home in this pretty barn, with exposed oak beams along the vaulted ceiling which add a light and airy feel. Settle down in the sociable lounge/diner and watch a film on the TV from the comfortable sofas. The relaxed dining area fits four perfectly, or indulge in a romantic meal for two, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen amongst country-living furnishings. There is also a convenient utility room with a washing machine and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Head up the stairs to the cosy mezzanine bedroom, with more exposed beams in the low sloping ceiling, where you can sleep restfully. Outside the front of the property is a large shared lawn with picnic benches perfect for al fresco dining, or there is an enclosed garden with more seating.

Just less than a mile away is the pretty village of Bosherton with tearooms that are perfect for an afternoon snack after exploring the Stackpole Estate with its lily ponds and woodlands. Closer to the coast is the curious St Govan’s chapel, which is located on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. A lovely cosy cottage well positioned for exploring the area. Fully equipped with all you needed. Was lovely to be close to the lily ponds to go running with the dogs. Beds were comfy and it was nice to lay there hearing the wind outside but feeling so sound.

This is a wonderful location, quiet and peaceful despite the proximity of the firing range which didn't disturb us at all. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and a spectacular coastline. There is plenty to see and do in the area, you can easily fill a week and more too. We will definitely be going back.

The scenery and local area were very good but no mention was made in your advertisement that it was next to an army firing range. Guns were fired late into the night and some of the heavy explosions shook the cottage. We would not return.
