Wonderful, well-proportioned, two-bedroom cottage in North Pembrokeshire with good access to many of the counties famous beaches and attractions.

Sitting in the quaint village of Castlemorris in West Wales, this wonderful cottage sleeps four people across two bedrooms. Quirky and comfortable, it’s the perfect rural retreat for a small family or groups of friends who want to enjoy all the pleasures of Pembrokeshire village life. Spend your days strolling along Newgale Sands (8 miles) or coasteering at Abereiddy’s Blue Lagoon (7.5 miles), and your evenings sipping wine with your nearest and dearest in the property’s pretty courtyard garden.

Step into this reverse-level cottage and you’ll find a contemporary kitchen and dining area. Make yourself at home, cook up a feast and gather everyone at the dining table to eat. Alternatively, head out to the private courtyard garden, fire up the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco. After dinner, crack open a bottle of something fizzy, or step back inside to curl up with a good book in the chill-out area, or take in the peaceful views from the living room. The living room’s elevated position on the first floor makes the very most of the village and country views. Relax in front of your favourite TV shows for a while before retiring to one of two country-style bedrooms for the night.

Get the gang together and head into Haverfordwest (13.5 miles) for the day. Explore the 12th-century castle and the Town Museum, which is located in the Old Prison Governor’s House. Take a stroll along the river and you’ll discover the romantic ruins of an Augustinian priory, or, if you’re there on a Friday, head to the Haverfordwest Farmers’ Market to source local goodies to cook with back at the cottage. Alternatively, take a scenic drive to St Davids (10.5 miles), Britain’s smallest city, and take a boat trip out to the islands. You might even catch a glimpse of puffins, porpoises and dolphins along the way.
