Lovely family house and garden in elevated position with extensive countryside views in Talgarreg. Perfect location for friends and family to relax and explore the coast and countryside near New Quay

This beautiful property has ample room for the whole family to spread out, including a stunning conservatory with magnificent countryside views. The family home has a large outdoor area, with a picnic bench and BBQ for al fresco dining. Just 7 miles from New Quay, you’ll be perfectly placed to enjoy a traditional seaside holiday. Alternatively, you’ll find a network of walking trails and footpaths branching away from the property and into the surrounding countryside.

The house is flooded with light and has been thoughtfully decorated to create a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Enter via the handy utility area, where you can store your footwear and outdoor gear, and head into the gorgeous kitchen. This stylish area has everything you need to cook a hearty meal for the family, as well as a breakfast table to sit with your morning coffee. The cosy lounge is warm and welcoming, with comfy sofas, a TV and a wood burner-effect electric fire. The piece de resistance, however, is the fabulous conservatory. This light and bright area boasts stunning views and is the ideal place to enjoy memorable mealtimes together. An enclosed garden envelops the property. There is a lawn for children to play on, as well as a patio area with a picnic bench and BBQ. Again, the views from here are stunning.

Picturesque New Quay is bursting with seaside charm. Wander around the picture-postcard harbour, look for dolphins in the bay or take a wildlife-watching boat trip along the marine heritage coastline. Follow in the footsteps of Dylan Thomas, visiting the poet’s old haunts and drinking a pint in his local pub. The town also has some wonderful sandy beaches. There are some fascinating National Trust properties in the area and the vibrant town of Aberystwyth (26 miles) makes a great day trip.

A lovely place to stay with a huge conservatory with smashing views over the whole farm area. The property is really easy to find and the owners, who also greet you on arrival, are very welcoming and helpful. We saw a lot of local sights, and were able to take the dog most days. The house and facilities are fabulous. The owners are really thoughtful even to the point of making sure there are both fresh flowers and hanging baskets. We were all made to feel welcome; even our pooch. The view is immense and we all spent a lot of time just looking into the distance. The local beaches are some of the prettiest we have seen.

The house is easy to find especially with sat nav. The views are beautiful and relaxing. The house is lovely, spacious and nicely decorated throughout. The garden is fenced and allows a dog freedom whilst outside. The cottage is spacious and well equipped. The views over the country side are wonderful and to wake up to hear birds, sheep and cows is great. There are quiet walks around the cottage and the proximity of New Quay (beach) and Lampeter (shopping) is great and with Aberystwyth 25 minutes drive with more beaches, shops, etc., it's a great location.

Exactly what we wanted. Peace and quiet, lovely accommodation, comfortable, clean and a conservatory with view that we wanted to take home! Nice secure garden for our dog. Outside seating for those sunny afternoons. Supermarket delivery so no food shopping required. Beaches close by, and being September, very quiet. Chip shop in Aberporth a must!
