Pack up a picnic and set out to explore, navigating the coast path to take in the awe-inspiring views from the clifftops. Tenby, 5 miles away, is an excellent walking destination if you are feeling energetic, and there are lots of sights to behold from basking seals to the impressive fort on St Catherine’s Island. Heading in the opposite direction, the 0.5-mile walk along the old railway to Wiseman’s Bridge is perfect for those who prefer a gentle amble.

Climb the external staircase and enter the first-floor apartment via the communal hallway, kicking off your sandy shoes ready to relax and unwind. The open-plan living space offers a calming retreat after a busy day. The kitchen has an electric ceramic hob, oven, fridge, washer/dryer, microwave and dishwasher. Clean and well equipped although there were only two of us in the property and we would have needed more wardrobe space if there had been more. There was a dishwasher but not enough cutlery to meet our needs before it was full enough to run. We couldnt manage to work the radio but that didnt matter too much.
