Described by architectural historian Pevsner as "eclectic colonial style" and a "castellated mansion", The Globe (as all the locals call it) was built on the site of two smaller cottages in 1903 in Victorian proportions and sturdiness and is definitely the biggest house in the village! Just renovated to provide all en suite facilities with a view to becoming a hotel again, the Globe is a luxurious and extremely spacious house with large garden, 8 person hot tub and plenty of parking.
The house has four large bedrooms, one family room, and three family suites - a bedroom with a side room curtained off, for use as a sitting room, or sleeping, with two single beds or a daybed and trundle. All have en suite facilities with bath and shower. Downstairs there's a large sitting room, a smaller sitting room equipped with a toy chest and dolls house, a dining room, plus large well equipped and newly fitted kitchen and utility room.
Outside there's an eight person hot tub (not overlooked) alongside a large built in barbecue and dining benches. There's a parking area for up to 8 cars, and a big enclosed garden. Roof terrace coming soon.
Inside, to keep you entertained, there are TVs with Freeview channels in every room, some of them Smart TVs, two DVD players, many DVDs, a big sound system/CD player, board games, books and superfast Wi Fi.
Angle is a lovely little village with a brilliant family beach to the west, a sailing/kayaking bay to the east, wildlife, the glorious coast path, two great pubs and a beach cafe.

LocationAngle has many listed buildings other than the Globe, including two grade 1 listings (a medieval pele tower said to have been a nunnery, and a sailors chapel behind the church). The fishing boats of East Angle Bay are within 200 yards of the house, a walk around the bay takes you to the Old Point House pub (cut off when the tides are very high). 100 yards and you are at the Hibernia Inn - a friendly pub with good value food. 10 minutes' walk west takes you to West Angle Bay, a beatiful beach with rock pools, good sandcastle sand, public toilets, free car parking and the Wavecrest Cafe. Angle obviously has a nautical history, there's a lifeboat station here, as well as lots of old stories - there was a Welsh "Whiskey Galore" here in 1894. Nearby, 'ten minutes' drive away if Freshwater West, a huge beach renowned for good surf (but don't swim there, the water is incredibly clean but there are nasty rip tides), the setting for the 2010 film Robin Hood, and featuring in both parts of Harry Potter/Deathly Hallows. The Angle peninsula is part of the Pembrokeshire coastal path; there is plentiful wildlife (owls hooting in the night, many different birds and butterflies) and beautiful wildflowers in the hedgerows.Pembroke with its magnificent castle is less than 10 miles away and Pembroke Dock with many supermarkets/retail shops a couple of miles further. And of course, Tenby with all its attractions and nearby wildlife parks/sporting facilities is less than 20 miles away.

Nearest Train Station Pembroke Dock Nearest Largest Towns Haverfordwest: 20.45 miles and takes 35 minutes. Haverfordwest has a large shopping centre with most of the supermarkets and many other high street shops, cinema and Castle Milford Haven: 17.59 miles and takes 30 minutes, has a small shopping centre with supermarkets and a few high street shops. Marina with restaurants and pubs. Pembroke Dock: 11.39 miles and takes 19 minutes. Pembroke Dock has a small shopping centre with many of the supermarkets and a selection of high street shops, and the Ferry Terminal for Ireland. Tenby: 19.01 miles and takes 30 minutes. Tenby has a mix of shops, with a selection of high street shops. It has also has a fantastic array of restaurants and pubs, and a bustling night life. Vistors Attractions: The local leisure attractions, Manor Farm, Heatherton Activities Centre, Forlly Farm and Oakwood are all within easy reach by car and in the peak weeks may have a regular bus service to and fro.
