This stone-built cottage is one of two holiday properties set together in the rural hamlet of Cilonen near the village of Three Crosses, so named for its location at a crossroad on the road from Swansea to Penclawdd. Although you’re in a rural setting, there are two pubs in Three Crosses serving superb food and ales and a further pub in Llanrhidian, 5 miles away. Beaches on both the South and North Gower are also only 5 miles away, and Swansea is 8 miles.
The cottage is all on one level and features traditional stone-clad walls, wooden floors and exposed ceiling beams alongside a contemporary interior. The cosy lounge has two sofas to relax on after a busy day exploring, and the galley kitchen has a dining area with a solid oak table seating six. The bedrooms have memory foam mattresses to ensure a restful night’s sleep and matching pine wardrobes, and the bathroom features a bath for a relaxing soak and a separate shower cubicle.
Sit out in the shaded seating area in the fenced courtyard and take in the views over the surrounding countryside.
