A spacious, peaceful retreat for two, this beautiful rural cottage has stunning interiors and a large, enclosed garden. It’s located within 48 acres of pastureland with horses in the nearby fields, perfect if you’re looking to get away from it all in an idyllic setting. There’s a town not too far away and plenty of walks and places to visit in the local area.
The cottage has bags of character and space, with a stylish and elegant lounge featuring a wooden floor, exposed brickwork and a fireplace housing a wood burner-effect gas fire. It also has SkyTV for relaxing evenings in and a handmade velvet and tweed sofa. There are lovely touches in the kitchen too, which has a dining table and a stable door – great for dogs and hot days. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a super-king-size bed and a walk-in wardrobe, and a gorgeous contemporary bathroom. Outside is a large, enclosed lawn where the dogs can run around, and you can relax in the sunshine.
There’s a 1.5-mile walk on nearby tracks right from the door and many other walking routes in the local countryside. The market town of Llandysul is 1.5 miles away where you’ll find a range of places to eat out and shop. The River Teifi is a fantastic location for fishing, and you can also go canoeing, play golf and try horse riding nearby. If you want to take your horse/s away with you, stabling can be arranged with the owners. The popular seaside town and golden, sandy beaches of New Quay are just 15 miles away and be sure to explore less-known bays like Tresaith too, a small, sheltered sandy beach with a pub and cafe.
