Enjoy an escape to this quaint country cabin for two set on an idyllic small holding in the heart of Pembrokeshire.

Good things definitely do come in small-ish packages in the case of this log cabin. Whisk your other half away for a romantic retreat in this quirky accommodation that resembles a shepherd’s hut from the outside but is something of a Tardis on the inside. It’s as cute as a button, but practical and extremely comfortable with it. There are even donkeys next door to make friends with. Set in a secluded part of a peaceful small holding 1 mile from Cresselly village, it’s in the heart of Pembrokeshire, making it ideal for exploring more of this county’s coastline and inland terrain.

The attention to detail shines through in this gorgeous handmade hut, with lovely wooden flooring and panelling throughout. This quaint holiday home has an en-suite double bedroom; it may be snug but there’s definitely room to manoeuvre, with clever design features like a sliding door to the shower room that all just add to the cosy vibe. The rest of the accommodation is open-plan, with a wooden table for two in the farmhouse-style kitchen area, which has all you’ll need to rustle up something delicious during your countryside retreat. At the end, there’s comfortable seating and a Smart TV by the French doors out onto a small, covered area. Down the steps, you’ve got a shingled patio area with a table and chairs and a BBQ.

Take it easy right here immersing yourself in nature at your home from home, after all, you are on holiday. It’s a tranquil location to recharge your batteries. However, if you fancy visiting some busier places, Saundersfoot (5.5 miles) and Tenby (6.5 miles) are along the coast and known for their beaches. The market town of Narberth with its independent shops, cafes and galleries is 8.5 miles away.

If you like privacy and to be tucked away in the countryside with animals and birds for company this is a clean well equipped accommodation for two. Good Wi-Fi, USB points smart TV plus comfy bed make the most of this Sheppard's hut. The Carew Inn nearby serves first class meals and is recommended. Three donkeys expect carrots cut up small!

We had a lovely long weekend at The Bray - the weather was cold but dry, & The Bray was equipped with blankets, a hot water bottle & heater to keep us snug & warm. The bedroom & bathroom are very compact, but manageable for a long weekend. The living area was spacious & well equipped for cooking breakfast or dinner. Clear skies meant it was a perfeRead morect spot for star gazing, & we enjoyed seeing the sheep & donkeys who were keen to say hello each day! A great base to visit the local area. Hide

Fabulous countryside location which is easy accessible to Tenby, Saundersfoot etc. The Bray is well equipped and comfortable, and the little extras were most appreciated. The owners are on hand if you need anything, and are so down to earth and friendly. A fabulous 4 night stay and will definitely book again.

We loved the donkeys (They were not noisey for us). Kitchen was good and had all the equipment needed to make basic food. It's a secluded part of the property and the host was wonderful.
