This beautiful, unique shepherd's hut with a wood burner provides the perfect romantic retreat from which to explore the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline.

Enjoying a tranquil and secluded location on the owner’s working farm, this wonderfully relaxing shepherd’s hut makes a romantic getaway for two. Perfect for a couple exploring the glorious Pembrokeshire Coast Path, the hut has been beautifully furnished, featuring underfloor heating and a cosy wood burner. Close to the picturesque village of Lamphey, and with the golden sands of Freshwater East Beach just a couple of miles away, this quirky retreat makes a wonderful base for keen walkers, cyclists and nature lovers discovering this spellbinding area.

Stepping into this light and attractive shepherd’s hut, you will find a welcoming open-plan living space. In front of the warming wood burner are a couple of chairs, and a kitchen and dining area. The snug sleeping area features a double bed with a Smart TV, providing a lovely spot for snuggling up and watching a favourite movie at the end of a great day. The hut also has a shower room. Three steps lead down to the large lawned garden which is surrounded by miles of open countryside. Close to a small, unfenced pond, the patio offers outdoor furniture and a fire pit/BBQ, and makes a fabulous spot for dining alfresco and taking in the stunning scenery.

The site of the ruins of Lamphey Bishop’s Palace, the picturesque village of Lamphey has a friendly pub and a couple of restaurants. The popular beach of Freshwater East is to the south (2.5 miles), with the historic town of Pembroke just a couple of miles to the west, offering a range of great places to eat and drink. Local attractions include Pembroke Castle, Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Manor Wildlife Park, Manorbier Castle and Carswell Medieval House (all within 10.5 miles).

Lovely peaceful location. Comfortable and cosy accommodation in a fantastic area for great walks and amazing scenery. This was our second stay here and will happily return again.

A really nice Shepards but with fantastic hosts. Near to Tenby and Pembroke so easy to travel for days out, lovely and quiet too. Would recommend

The horseshoe shepherds hut was a great experience better equipped than we first thought. It's in an ideal location for a relaxing break or seeing the sites around Pembrokeshire.

This hut was absolutely amazing clean and fresh..everything you need furnishings were of very high standard.even underfloor heating! The hut was in a very quiet field but close to local amenities

I would highly recommend the Horseshoe Hut for a nice little get away. It is only small but well equipped with everything you need and small little touches that made it extra special including washing up essentials, miniature bottle of wine and a couple snacks. A lovely relaxing location the Shepherds Hut was great with beautiful scenery. The local pub was a bit disappointing was hoping for more of a traditional country pub. Overall had a great break.

Exactly as photographed. Nice touches like washing up liquid and liquid soap in bathroom. Also had WiFi and Freeview TV. I loved it. Exactly what I needed.
