Explore Pembrokeshire from this enticing, one-bedroom holiday home at Llandissilio in West Wales. Set across the whole ground floor of a traditional house on a working farm, it enjoys access to its own leafy dell where there is a stream and a firepit. The property, which sleeps two guests, plus a couple of their contented canines, makes an ideal romantic retreat, while also being close to the pretty market town of Narbeth, 5 miles away, and the popular seaside village of Saundersfoot, 12.5 miles from the holiday home.

Stroll into this appealing property and find yourselves in the kitchen/diner, where the oil-fired Rayburn will keep you toasty and warm during the colder season. Prepare meals in here for the two of you, then dine together at the table on cosy nights in. Find a shower room in this part of the property too. Take two steps up into the lounge to light the wood burner and relax in front of the TV/DVD as the fire crackles close by. At the end of each relaxing evening, make your way into the super-king-size bedroom, where zip-and-link beds can also be arranged as twins if discussed in advance. Find there is a chair by the window in here where you can ponder in the morning over your first cup of tea of the day. Bask in the sunshine in the large, enclosed garden or wander down to the woodland. Find parking for one car with the cottage.

Plan a trip into Tenby, 15 miles away, and enjoy the contrast to the tranquil setting of the retreat. Wander the narrow streets here, pausing in charming, independent shops and dining out in cafes and restaurants. Spend time on one of the town’s beautiful beaches, take part in water sports and climb up to the castle.

  • 1 bedroom – super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request)
  • Located on the owners working dairy farm
  • 1 shower room
