Discover the beauty of the Gower Peninsula in South Wales from the comfort of this country cottage in Llanrhidian. One of a pair of semi-detached holiday homes set on a 60-acre farm, overlooking the historic site of Cefn Bryn, the enticing retreat sleeps two people, making it ideal for a couple seeking a romantic break. The one-bedroom property is in a superb location for country walks, as well as trips to beautiful beaches. Return home afterwards to soak in the private hot tub.

Enter this inviting cottage and find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Open the doors to bring the outside in and unwind after busy days out in front of the TV/DVD. Prepare delicious dinners for two in the kitchen then dine together inside or out, depending on the weather. Head up to the first floor to run a long, hot bath then lay your head in the comfortable, king-size bedroom. Carry your first cup of tea of the morning out into the garden and take in the views over Cefn Bryn, a scenic, five-mile-long ridge, home to a Neolithic monument called Arthur’s Stone. Fire up the hot tub as often as you choose and unwind in there with a glass of something bubbly. Find secure cycle storage at the property, plus plenty of parking.

Lace up your boots and head straight out to explore Cefn Bryn. Grab your swimming costumes and towels and drive 6 miles down to the beach at Oxwich Bay or about the same distance to Three Cliffs. Llangennith Beach, also 6 miles away, is widely considered to be one of the best places to surf in South Wales, while Rhossili Beach, 10 miles from the cottage, is a lovely place to walk, with its 3 miles of golden sand.

A clean, comfortable cottage in a central location to visit all the sights and scenery of the Gower. Only a short drive to shops, pub with delicious food and all the beaches. Dog friendly, enclosed garden great for our little pooch with a hot tub to keep the adults happy.

Absolutely wonderful cottage in the country - one of the best we have stayed at! It was very comfortable for 2 people, spacious, and had all the equipment needed. The hot tub was a treat! We enjoyed seeing a lot of horses coming and going, and the friendly farm doggies. Would absolutely stay again.
