Autumn in Pembrokeshire is a sight to behold, when the leaves appear to be set alight by the warm glow of the sun, the mornings turn crisp and frosty, and the evenings draw darker, cosier, and spookier.
Autumn is the perfect time of year to enjoy some festive family fun in the outdoors, and this year there are some fantastic farms around the county offering pumpkin picking and lots of other activities to delight and entertain.
Good Hook Pumpkins are the newest addition to the pumpkin picking family in Pembrokeshire. A family run working dairy farm, Good Hook Farm decided to turn their hands to pumpkins over lockdown and have been working hard to lovingly grow and harvest pumpkins for their patch, with pumpkin prices starting from just £1 each.
Good Hook Pumpkins are open throughout the whole of October for visitors to explore the vast variety of pumpkins they have on offer, displayed in a beautiful array of orange and green atop hay bales, tractor tyres, and milk churns.
Good Hook Pumpkins has a wonderfully rustic, grass roots atmosphere, invoking the true spirit of the harvest season.
Open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am until 4pm with no booking required and free entry. Still running as a fully functioning dairy farm, the pumpkin patch is open from Monday to Friday but the family politely request that you contact them in advance to arrange a suitable time.

Windsor Farm, a sheep, beef, and arable farm on the South Pembrokeshire coast in Lamphey, is opening the gates to its pumpkin patch for the second year on Saturday 10th, Sunday 11th, Saturday 17th, and Sunday 18th of October, with additional dates over October half term.
Open from 10am until 4pm entry is completely free and no booking is required, creating a relaxed and easy-going atmosphere.
