The beautiful secluded beach at Monkstone is around 15 minutes’ walk away through country lanes leading to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park coastal path. Monkstone is off the main tourist track, so you could well have it all to yourself, with plenty of room for play and relaxation.
Trevayne woodland provides lovely walks too, leading to the coastal path with spectacular coastal views, an abundance of natural flora and fauna, along with exhilarating sea air – the perfect way to daily exercise the Pembrokeshire way!
New Hedges village has a well-stocked local shop and post office, a seasonal pub/steak house and a village hall hosting regular events.
A bus service connects New Hedges to the coastal resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot which makes it very easy to leave the car behind and enjoy your holiday without the hassle of parking, especially in the busy months.
