The FBM office in Tenby took to the water earlier today – putting the ‘fun’ in fundraising – as they raised money for the annual BBC Children in Need event, due to showcase it’s long-running finale on television tonight.
With fundraising events going on up and down the country, FBM felt they wanted to get involved and sought to come up with something interesting in order to raise money. With the Tenby backdrop, often the cause of much jealousy from other FBM offices, given location and beauty, the team set their minds on utilising the natural environment to raise money for this good cause. Namely, they would take to the water, for a wintery dip!
But not just any dip. A 1920s-inspired dip, complete with traditional long bathing attire. No room for wetsuits or warming neoprene covers. Just straight into the icy Welsh sea on Castle beach.
Take a look below at how the ‘dip’ went, and please, if you can, click the link to our JustGiving page, and donate whatever you can to this wonderful cause. We’re not trying to raise a colossal amount, just £100, but everything and anything will help go towards some fantastic causes.
