Ceredigion

Ceredigion Museum.
Go back in time with the quirky Ceredigion Museum. Located in an old cinema their motto is: “encourage the curious”. Here you’ll find Permanent and temporary exhibitions as well as film showings, performances, activities and workshops.

Paint your own pottery at Blue Island Ceramics, Ynyslas.
Get creative as a family by painting and designing your own mugs, signs, money boxes and plates. A perfect souvenir from your holiday.

Teifimania Soft Play, Cardigan.
If the little ones are bursting with energy but it’s too wet and wild to get outside: head to Teifimania Soft Play where they can yomp about to their heart’s content, and get stuck in with crafting activities too.

Aberystwyth Arts Centre.
Here you’ll find shows, family activities and entertainment throughout the year. They also have a cinema.

Pembrokeshire

Trampoline at Hangar 5 Trampoline Park, Haverfordwest.
Play dodgeball, dive in the crash bowl and shoot some hoops, all whilst bouncing around at Hangar 5.

Paint your own pottery at The Creative Cafes in Narberth and Haverfordwest.
Watch the rain outside as you enjoy a cosy afternoon painting tiles, crockery and ornaments with a hot chocolate.

Blue Lagoon Water Park.
Get wet and wild without becoming cold and grumpy at the Blue Lagoon near Narberth. With shipwrecks, lazy rivers, wave machines and slides, there’s plenty here to keep everyone happy. Height restrictions apply for some activities.

Tenby Museum.
Small but perfectly formed, Tenby museum is perched above Castle beach with views of both Caldey and St.Catherines Island. Discover the local history of cavemen, dinosaurs, pirates and D Day practices, and learn about the colourful maritime history of the area. There are loads of interactive materials, films, activities and games too. Kids go free.

Carmarthenshire

Escape Game Carmarthen.
Two unique escape challenges. Put your heads together and solve the clues to get out. Children under 12 must be accompanied by and adult.

National Botanic Garden of Wales.
Rain or shine there is family fun all around at the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Enjoy indoor activities, workshops and events, and explore the glasshouse, brimming with exotic plants.

Xcel Bowl, Carmarthen.
Enjoy bowling as a family or send the kids in to the soft play whilst you relax at the restaurant.

Carmarthenshire Museum.
Discover bones of ice age animals, fossils, Roman gold, the legend of Merlin’s Oak, gravestones from the time of King Arthur, and folk art believed to have mystical powers. Enjoy displays of past lives, such as Elsa’s traditional Welsh cottage, the old palace kitchen, rural food production, and the exquisite and beautifully preserved palace chapel.
