Stay and Play in Wild West Wales

One thing is for sure, you will have an action-packed holiday in wild West Wales. From foraging to wildlife watching, conquering castles to sea swimming and water sports. We are sure you will leave with many great holiday memories and a desire to come back for more!

West Wales, with the UK’s only coastal National Park, is a destination which has something to offer every interest and for all energy levels. You can have a go at something new like coasteering or do something familiar in a new place like a dog walk on the UK’s favourite Castle Beach in beautiful Tenby.

Visit as a family, bring your friends or take a break as a couple.

Wildlife Experiences

West Wales’ geography makes it a perfect stop off and breeding location for migratory birds.

It also has seas which are favourable for bottlenose dolphin, porpoise and Atlantic grey seals.

Stunning floral displays appear within the countryside and along the 186 miles of breath taking coastline. The woodlands create a perfect habit for many species including red squirrel.

For a family day out, whatever the weather, then a visit to Folly Farm Adventure Park & Zoo is a must with over 90 different species from lions, rhinos and giraffes to penguins, sloths and cuddly farm animals in the Jolly Barn petting zoo.

Naturalist’s step this way…

Family Activity Holidays

We have lost track of how many generations tell us Pembrokeshire is their firm favourite summer holiday destination.

We also know that many choose to head to Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion for their family holiday too and there is a very good reason for this…

These coastal counties create amazing childhood memories as there is so much to sea and do, even on a rainy day.

There is also plenty of space for everyone to have, well…a bit of space!

Connect as a Couple

West Wales is the charming, unspoiled destination of choice for many couples.

Experience life in the slow lane together and spend your days exploring fairy tale castles, cwtched up in front of a pub fire or ambling along pretty harbours.

Fall in love any time of the year with beautiful beaches, stunning sunsets and cosy countryside retreats.

Blissful adventures await.

Sporting Stays

There are a host of sporting events held in West Wales each year including IRONMAN Wales and Long Course Weekend.

This doesn’t mean you have to be in the same league to enjoy the whole range of energetic activities on offer to you.

Why not try a leisurely game of golf at one of our excellent golf courses or enjoy a relaxing afternoon of fishing, be it sea fishing, game fishing or coarse and still water fishing!

Make the most of the coastlines and go coasteering, a full on adrenalin pumping activity which originated in Pembrokeshire, or have a go at more sedate activities such as paddle boarding.

Alternatively, be prepared to get muddy along the world class mountain bike routes in Carmarthenshire on a cycling holiday.

Adventure Weekends

Escape for the weekend with an action packed short break in West Wales.

From high ropes at Heatherton World Of Activities to laser combat at Battlefield Live and rock climbing Pembrokeshire’s stunning coastline, there’s plenty to cram in on a weekend away.

There’s also exciting activities like horse-riding, mountain biking, surfing, kayaking and coasteering to try for all adventure seekers in this coastal playground.

Get outdoors and play or take a stroll in endless stunning countryside.

After all those adventures retreat back to one of our fully equipped cottages, lodges or apartments and refuel ready for life’s next adventure!

If you’re after a mix of adventure and relaxation then head to one of the many fabulous spas which offer sensational treatments and other facilities such as saunas, steam rooms and pools.

The St Brides Spa in Saundersfoot, The Ivybridge Spa in Goodwick and Scolton Manor Spa near Haverfordwest are all perfect places to unwind.

If you find you’re too exhausted to cook during your self catering stay, there are plenty of fantastic places to eat nearby!
