Wisemans Bridge is quite a remote village formed around the glorious Pembrokeshire coastline. Its pure white sands and rocky terrain, give the beach a unique feature that will bring the family together for endless fun and amusement. Children will have fun climbing around the pebbly rock pools, and splashing around in the sea and the romantic couple can enjoy exquisite walks around the rocky cove. There are many walks on which to go on within this area, such as the long circular walk of almost eleven miles that takes you from Wisemans Bridge along an old railway line to the to the secluded beach of Coppet Hall. From here, another tunnel will bring you out into Saundersfoot, where you can spend time marvelling around the many shops and stop off to quench your thirst in the local pubs. This historical walking route was in fact the main route in which the old railway used to transport coal and iron in the 19th century, so take your time to consume all the history before you, and walk the route that Churchill himself once took in order to attend the rehearsals for D-Day landings! To see the remains of the old Iron works and coal mine, delve into the valley towards Stepaside and see how the area reveals its industrial past.

With plenty of car parking available, Wisemans Bridge can be easily accessed, and why not finish the day off with a visit to the local pub “The Wisemans Bridge Inn”. Here you will be greeted with a friendly welcome, and a large selection of food and drink.
