On the 8th June 2009 the Tour of Pembrokeshire organisers were delighted to confirm in excess of 750 entrants for the 160 mile and 64 mile routes, which was a superb achievement.
On a day of torrential rain and high winds they managed to get out in excess of 500 riders to do the Tour. A wet and windy day was had by all, the sun did come out later in the afternoon which gave cyclists and spectators an opportunity to tell their tales of the challenging day which had gone before them.
The organisation co-ordination of the Tour of Pembrokeshire was upgraded from the previous year with improved signage, meal facilities, all inclusive after the event, courtesy of Tour of Pembrokeshire's local community link with Pembrokeshire College. Likewise Pembrokeshire College students on the sports massage course had an opportunity to practice their skills by offering massages post-event.

Looking ahead at the 2010 Tour of Pembrokeshire.

The target for 2010 is to have 500 local participants from Pembrokeshire.
The 2010 Tour of Pembrokeshire starts at the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot on the 13th June 2010.
In 2010 there will be 3 courses 60 Miles, 80 Miles an 115 Miles (approx)
There will be a WATT Bike compotition, plus demo bikes to try out.
