Already know the property reference, name or street name?
We endeavour to describe each property, its facilities and surroundings as accurately as possible and provide as much information as we are able. Distances are approximate and prices quoted are correct at the time of going to print.
PLEASE NOTE: holiday resorts can be noisy at times and therefore peace & quiet cannot be guaranteed.
The majority of our properties have a weekly changeover day of Saturday, unless otherwise stated. The takeover times are clearly marked on each property and to ensure that the property is fully prepared for your stay we ask that you do not take possession until the stated takeover time. NOTE: Short breaks can start on any day of the week.
If you are staying in a property that allows you to take your dog with you please take along a suitable bed and bedding and dont allow your pet to sit on beds or furniture.
Pets must not be left alone in the property at any time. The new Disability Discrimination Act requires property owners who operate a no pets policy to waive this policy where assistance dogs are concerned. Out of season many properties are private homes with their own live-in dogs, cats and other animals. Therefore if you do require pet-free accommodation please let us know and well check what the situation is at your chosen property.
Bed linen and towels are either provided or available to hire. If youre staying for two weeks or longer then let us know when you make your booking and well see that your linen is changed during your stay. Towels and tea towels are not provided nor is cot linen. If you are staying in one of our Tenby or Saundersfoot properties we do offer the option of towel hire. For further details call Classic Cleaning Services on 01834 849477 or 07791080165.
Many of our properties are over 100 years old and were built before the days of modern insulation and damp-proof courses. Some properties may also have steeper stair gradients and/or reduced height doorways and low beams etc. Although we inspect our properties very carefully, it is natural and understandable that these properties may occasionally be prone to the effects of humidity and the Welsh climate can sometimes exacerbate condensation. Ventilating the property by leaving some windows open can help alleviate this problem.
We would advise against brining elderly or asthmatic people to these older character type properties, especially out of season.
Occasionally visitors from more urban areas are surprised to find spiders, flies, ants, wasps, snails etc in some cottages. All our owners endeavour to make sure these guests are kept away, but FBM Holidays cannot guarantee that these insect etc. wont turn up, despite the property being thoroughly cleaned. Such instances are a natural occurrence of country life and these insects are not harmful in any way. However, if a major problem does arise then please contact the office for further advise and assistance.
Countryside activities and animals can sometimes be noisy and a little smelly but this is a natural, every day part of life in the country.
For properties in Tenby and Saundersfoot cots and high chairs can be hired from Holiday & Nursery Hire. To find out more ring direct on 01834 812909.
Tenby is a popular, buzzing town and for several weeks during the high season the area within the town walls is effectively closed to traffic. The area covered is relatively small and getting around by foot is fun. Most on-street parking outside the town walls is by permit only.
Car parks around the town are within a short walk of the town centre, shops and beaches and weekly tickets are available. In addition, a park and ride service operates during the summer high season. For information about visitor parking permits please contact Pembrokeshire County Council on 01437 775414 or 01437 775500.
