  • We have an excellent advertising campaign – most national papers and magazines, foreign travel agents and we are linked to numerous web  sites, i.e. Visit Britain, Visit Wales, Visit Pembrokeshire.
  • Our protected booking scheme ensures that owners are guaranteed payment within the booking terms even in the event of cancellation.
  • We manage all aspects of letting, from taking bookings to payment, 24 hour key allocation and assistance in finding a caretaker/cleaner.

  • Property owners are not penalised for reserving weeks for their own use.

Appointing FBM Holidays as your holiday letting agents

Inspection, advice and rents

The first stage is to make an appointment for our Property Consultant to meet you at your holiday cottage, apartment or house to discuss all aspects of holiday letting and for any queries you may have to be answered.  During the inspection of your property, recommendations may be put forward to further improve areas in order to maximise potential income and acquire a higher level of bookings and Wales Tourist Board grading.

A valuation advice letter showing projected figures and a copy of our Terms and Conditions of Appointment will be forwarded to you, simply complete, sign and return these to our office as quickly as possible.  Arrangements will then be made for our photographer to call and once the description of the property has been agreed your property details can immediately be added to our state of the art web site.

Brochure

To ensure your property receives the best advertising coverage, the details will be included in our professionally designed colour brochure, all entries must be received no later than the first week in July as our printers have to work to a strict deadline. However for late entries further colour brochure supplements are produced throughout the year, so it’s never too late to join FBM!!!

Owner bookings

Unlike many agencies, we do not charge for weeks reserved for the use of the owners or their family.  All we ask is that we are notified of such weeks at the earliest possible opportunity.  However, if in accordance with your earlier instructions, we have already taken a booking for such a week, then our booking must receive priority.

Q. How will my property be promoted?

A. Full professionally designed colour brochure, real time website with online availability and booking 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, national advertising including teletext and also professional photography, all charges for which are within our very competitive commission fees.

Q. What about insurance?

A. We do require our holiday homeowner to have their own public liability insurance. Full details are included in our owner’s pack, which is available upon request.

Q. How many customers do FBM Holidays reach?

A. As a result of our extensive national advertising and marketing we mail out approx 55,000 brochures each year proving to be very successful and achieving thousands of bookings.

Q. How will my rents be set ?

At FBM Holidays we tailor the rents to individual properties, taking into account, location, presentation, occupancy, equipment provided plus other provisions such as fuel costs and bed linen. This is why it is important that a representative of FBM pays a visit to your property in order to give an individual appraisal.
