The Freshwater Inn is the local public house and serves excellent food, with the village of Lamphey a mere 2 miles away with its local bakery, shop/post office, garage and restaurants 'The Lantern' and 'The Dial Inn'. The 'Lamphey Hall Hotel has an excellent restaurant and the 'Lamphey Court Hotel' with its restaurant and spa is open to non residents.

A short drive to the local beauty spots of Stckpole Quay with its superb tea room and the famous Lily ponds at Bosherston, the beaches at Broadhaven South, Manorbier, Skrinkle and Swanlake Bay. Barafundle Beach was recently voted one of the best in the UK. Historic Pembroke is only 4 miles away with its mill pond walk taking you around the walls of the medieval castle. Tenby and Saundersfoot are within an easy 30 minute drive.
