Location

Jameston Village on the A4139 is situated some 6 miles from Tenby and 4.8 miles from the historic town of Pembroke. There is a small supermarket and pub in the village, the Swan Lake Inn, which serves food.

Swanlake Bay Beach, just over a mile away,is a secluded shingle beach with sand exposed at low tide, situated in a bay and backed by low cliffs. Swanlake beach is located on the south coast of Pembrokeshire between Freshwater East and Manorbier Bay. Swanlake Bay Beach is popular for swimming, fishing and walking ...as with many Pembrokeshire beaches it is bordered by the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Dogs are allowed all year. There is a cafe on a nearby farm with car parking but no Parking near the beach.

Manorbier is 1.5 miles away and in the village you will find a medieval castle, a Norman church, a pub, a post office and general store, a garage and a cafe/ tea rooms. Although there is only one pub in the village, The Castle Inn provides a warm and friendly welcome to all, and serves appetising meals or just have a pint of beer and a ploughman's lunch. Manorbier Bay has a pay and display car park and is popular with surfers and children will love the rock pooling and the sand dunes.

M4 Cardiff - 95.4 miles takes 1 hour 52 minutes. Nearest largest towns/city.
Tenby - 6.1 miles takes 8 minutes. Tenby has a variety of shops, with a selection of High street shops.  It has also has a very good selection of restaurants and pubs to suite all tastes. 
Pembroke - 8.6 miles takes 13 minutes. Historic Town  with a selection of shops and restaurants,castle.
Narberth - 15.8 miles takes 24 minutes.
Haverfordwest - 17.6 miles takes 30 minutes. Haverfordwest has a large shopping centre with most of the supermarkets and many other high street shops,  
Carmarthen - 32.1 miles takes 45 minutes. Large shopping centre with most of the supermarkets and many of the other High Street shops.  
Visitor Attractions - Local leisure attractions, Manor House, Heatherton Activities Park, Folly Farm, and Oakwood are all within easy reach by car and in the peak weeks may have a regular bus service to and fro.
