The Welsh Chocolate Farm: - Chocolate 'the world's consuming passion' Join us at the chocolate farm where you can smell, taste, drink, see, touch, listen to and absorb the full flavours of fine chocolate at our multi award winning chocolate workshops. The chocolate cafe, chocolate shops and chocolate factory are open from April to October.

Carmarthen Golf Club: - The course offers magnificent views of the surrounding countryside as well as providing a challenging 18 hole layout. This par 71 will challenge the best and still allow the novice to enjoy a days' golf.

The National Botanic Garden Of Wales: - Marvel at the dome and the walled garden and the water feature and and....for anyone who is interested or loves gardens, this is a must.

Dolaucothi Goldmines and National Wool Museum: - children will love having a go at spinning wool and panning for gold, so these two wonderful heritage attractions clearly prove that learning can be fun!

National Wetlands Centre: - Summer family fun starts on 22 July until 3 September with lots of activities on offer, including pond dipping, dragonfly walks and art and craft sessions.

Gwili Railway: - The only steam standard gauge railway operating in South West Wales. If you're lucky and you visit at the right time, they can enjoy the extremely popular 'A Day Out with Thomas' event. Meet Thomas the Tank and his friends, including Percy, Toby and the Fat Controller!
