Here at FBM, we’re all really looking forward to this year’s IRONMAN Wales event in Pembrokeshire, which is set to take place on Sunday the 16^th of September. We’re even more excited because our very own Billy Connor, who works in Customer Services, will be taking part!

All entrants (including Billy!) will have to complete a 3.8km swim from Tenby’s South Beach, before undertaking a grueling 180km bike ride through south Pembrokeshire and a 26.2km run in and around the historic town of Tenby. The race is set to start at 7am, and if last year is anything to go by, the atmosphere alone will be well worth the visit.

And even if you’re not looking to push your body to its very limits, Pembrokeshire is a fantastic destination for a holiday, having recently been voted one of the very best coastal destinations on the planet with plenty to do and see regardless of your age.
