1. Folly Farm - Spend a fun-filled day at what has twice been voted the Wales Tourist Board's 'Best Day Out in Wales'. The owners are keen to combine entertainment with education and there really are so many things going on, from coming face to face with friendly farm animals at the Jolly Barn & Farm to exploring the indoor playground, enjoying the Vintage Funfair and wandering the grounds of the farm itself. |

2. Oakwood - Boasting over 30 different rides and attractions, it is little wonder that Oakwood has become one of Wales' most popular attractions. From the adrenaline-fuelled highs of Megafobia and Speed to relaxed pedaloes on the boating lake and Brer Rabitt's Burrow for little ones, Oakwood is sure to have something to entertain. During August the park stays open until 10pm and all the rides lit up for a truly unique experience. |

3. Heatherton - We challenge you not to have fun whilst exploring this country sports theme park near Tenby. There really is too much going on to mention it all, but you'll get to choose from the likes of adventure golf, water pedaloes, bumper boats, archery, laser clays and baseball, not to mention the fantastic maize maze. If you work up enough of an appetite, you'll be able to refuel in one of two restaurants, or relax in the coffee shop. |

The park also includes some great family fun things to do such as an adventure playground and Dino-crazy golf. Youll also never have to worry about the weather, as theres an ace indoor area as well to continue your fun and play just watch out for a t-rex on the loose! |

5. Castell Henllys - There's really no other place quite like Castell Henllys, a truly unique Iron Age hill fort overlooking the Preseli Hills. The site may be steeped in history, but there's so much for kids to enjoy, from storytelling and traditional craft workshops to dramatic trails that'll help bring history alive in a fun and entertaining way. So whether you're looking to help build a wattle & daub wall or paint your face like an Iron Age warrior, we highly recommend a visit! |
