A record number of 366 competitors took part in this years Tenby 10k run. It all started at 11:00am from The Croft-Norton Junction. The race then continued up through Narberth Road and all the way out to the end of Penally. The competitors then turned back and headed toward the High Street, down to Tudor Square, where they were greeted to the finish by the cheers of the crowds. Dewi Griffiths came home in first place in a record time of 30 minutes and 56 seconds. FBM Holidays proudly sponsored the 10k run and provided a 4 night break in one of our unique cottages. Andrew Howell won the open male event, Anthony Powell the mens over 40s and Alan Davies the over 50s. The first woman home was Alaw Thomas in 38 minutes and 11 seconds, and she won a weekend break at the Fourcroft Hotel. The open female event was won by Clara Evans, with Shan Roberts taking the over 40s crown and Mary Bowen-Rees the over 45s Billy and Anne-Marie from FBM entered the event, Anne-Marie that It was my first time to run the Tenby 10K and even though it was hard work I am glad I did it and would definitely do it next year. It was well organised and a great experience.
