Adventure Days with TYF No Limits. TYF Adventure, in St. David’s, is the ideal place for you to enjoy a holiday with the kids. Come and enjoy an unforgettable family break. Experience some of the best outdoor adventure fun in Europe. Discover Pembrokeshire’s spectacular marine environment on a sea kayaking trip, or scramble, swim and leap along the rugged coastline on a breathtaking coasteering exploration. Or why not learn to climb some of Pembrokeshire’s awe-inspiring sea cliffs, or start surfing the Atlantic waves off some of Britain’s best beaches. As well as being great fun, these activities improve health and fitness and adventurers are guaranteed to pick up useful new skills. If you’d like us to include some environmental education in your adventure, we’ll be happy to help. All levels of skill and ability are catered for and adventure half-days, full-days, weekends and longer breaks are on offer 12 months a year, so you’ll be able to find the ideal adventure. Children aged 8 years and over are welcome. TYF Adventure’s experienced and friendly guides have been trained to the highest possible standard for all activities, ensuring you’ll be in safe hands. TYF Adventure is located in Pembrokeshire for good reason - the county’s stunning coastline offers world-leading outdoor adventure locations and some of the cleanest and warmest waters in the British Isles. Most of the local coastline falls within the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast National park.
Just 2 miles from Tenby, close to St. Florence, this great family attraction is open all year round and boasts a unique variety of sporting and fun activities. Admission to the park is free and you pay as you go. On offer are an 18-hole pitch and putt golf course, driving range, karting, pistol range, archery, laser clay pigeon shooting, baseball range, bumper boat racing, horseriding, paintball, fort adventure play area and soft play area. For parents’ peace of mind all children wear hi-tech security tags. Oakwood is one of Britain’s most rewarding and exciting theme parks – a wonderful combination of thrilling whiteknuckle rides and attractions to delight everyone in the family, from toddler to grandma. In peak season the park stays open till 10.00pm, each evening culminating in a spectacular firework display and light show. The Christmas pantomime is also very popular. Next door to Oakwood is CC2000, an all-weather family fun attraction where you can play the Cyberdrome Crystal Maze (based on the popular TV game), ten-pin bowling, the latest video games and high-realism simulators. Bowl them over with an hours bowling on the ten-lane alley at CC2000 where a mximum of six people can bowl on one lane. You can book more than one lane if you have a large party. Bumpers are available on all ten lanes and they also have two ramps available which must be prebooked. The Crystal Maze, based on the popular T.V. show, is an experience of real adventure as you and your team venture into four themed zones. The four zones are Aztec, Medieval, Futuristic and Oceanic, where up to 25 challenges await to test your wits before you can gain those elusive crystals. 'Merlin', your host, will control which games and and zones you are sent to. Whether the games are mental, skill or physical will be for you and your team captain to decide. Dare you attempt the challenge? Time is against you! You only have a limited time on each game and it is part of the game to work out where the ticking clock may be. Having played the games, you still need to conquer the final challenge, The Crystal Dome. There are points waiting to be won and lost in this ultimate challenge. Beware!! Drop into the Ritec Valley at Penally, near Tenby, and you’ll soon get the bug for fantastic 4-wheel fun! You’ll not only discover the ultimate cross-country driving experience for senior riders but also an exciting junior circuit which caters for riders aged 6 - 15 years old. Rides are supervised by qualified ATV (all-terrain vehicle) instructors, so even complete novices can join in. The hour-long off-road course takes you through lovely countryside and a challenging obstacle course. Offering entertainment and fun regardless of age and ability, this ten-pin bowling centre is one of Milford Haven Marinas' most recent and lively attractions. Along with a sophisticated ten-lane setup, the centre also boasts a separate pool-room for those with endless amounts of energy. There is disability access with bowling provision, so everyone can have a go! If this all sounds like too much activity and spectating is more in your league, then enjoy the action from the fully-licensed bar complete with big screen coverage of major sporting events, or our highly acclaimed restaurant that has a growing reputation. Also included within the centre is Pirate Petes soft play complex that is an ideal venue for Childrens' Birthday parties. If you like horses.....try riding Western style!. The thrill of genuine USA Western stle riding right here in Pembrokeshire. Sycamores Ranch can be found in Llawahaden, near Narberth, and offers Trail Riding (3-4 hour trails, full days trails and evening trails), Western Riding tuition, hacking and schooling, an impressive all-weather arena, residential courses, part or full livery, large circular sand school, not to mention the Western Tack Store and much more. At the ranch there is also a beautiful American Quarter Horse Stallion by the name of Usk Valley Buckaroo, an amazing easy-going horse with an excellent temperament. If you have never cycled in Pembrokeshire before, then you're missing out on the perfect destination for cycling. The North of the County has some challenging routes that take you through the ups and downs of the Preseli Hills, and in the South, the landscape changes and becomes gentle with rolling hills and peaceful waterways. The network of virtually traffic free lanes that criss-cross the county make Pembrokeshire an ideal safe family cycling destination, with routes available directly from the centres of Saundersfoot and Newport, so no need to use that car! All you need is a Cycle Breaks guide and the rest is up to you; pick a route, enjoy the breathtaking National Park scenery and attractions along the way and take your time, most of all, have fun. Touring cyclists can enjoy the Celtic Trail that begins in Fishguard and winds its way through North and South Pembrokeshire or link together two or three existing routes to provide over 90 miles of stunning cycling terrain. Located at Rudbaxton, a secluded hamlet 3 miles north of Haverfordwest, the school is set in 350 acres of wooded farmland and overlooks Treffgarne Mountain. Horses vary from quiet ponies, suitable for beginners, to competition horses for advanced riders, and facilities include a large indoor school, outdoor all-weather menage and a schoolroom equipped with audio-visual aids. The school is approved by the British Horse Society, accredited by the Wales Tourist Board and is a Riding for Disabled Association Centre.
